Mosquitoes. New York: Boni & Liveright, 1927. First edition, first issue. Publisher's cloth lettered in yellow, in the original first issue dust jacket with mosquito design, the $2.50 price present, housed in a red morocco-backed case. Jacket spine darkened and with a chips to foot and a few nicks, split starting to rear jacket flap, internally clean.
Scarce in jacket, the writing in Faulkner's second novel Mosquitoes is considered some of his finest. The Peterson A4.1a.
