Keulemans and 2 plain plates by J. Smit. Bookplates of the Library of the Zoological Society of Philadelphia, F. Monteith Ogilvie, and Charles Bingham Penrose, ink stamp of the library and shelf markers to titles and foot of spines, shelfwear and rubbing to bindings, spotting to edges but internally quite clean; Together with BULLER, WALTER LAWRY. Supplement to the 'Birds of New Zealand'. London: published by the author, 1905. First edition. Publisher's gilt stamped red cloth. 15 x 11 1/2 inches (38 x 29 cm); with portrait frontispiece and 12 hand-colored lithographed plates by J. G. Keulemans. Small repairs to titles, lightly toned, labels removed from foot of spine.
