The carved and stained boxwood netsuke in the form of a toad sitting in the head of a mushroom and grasping the stalk in an erotic manner has inlaid eyes and base drilled with a himotoshi (cord holes) and inlaid with a circular tablet etched in red with a partially legible name of ''Yoshi.(?)''
