The fine old diamond shape fish poacher is described as, ''DIAMOND shaped it is a TUREBOTIER ( for fish, or the the kings of fish -lobster etc)- this particular one is quite special because of its provenance. This is a rare piece. It can be looked up partially on line and because of its age and stamping should command a good price, along with the fact that it has a lid. I purchased it from Robert Salzman a well known caterer in KC many years ago … the crest I do not believe to be a ''family crest'' I believe it is the name/stamp(crest) of the maker.''
