Description
Magnificent, Forged German Helmet. The two-piece skull with low roped comb, the visor with elongated sights and drawn out to a point, tapering visor lifting post, the upper bevor pierced with circular breaths to either side. The neck guard composed of two articulated plates. The back of the skull with broken plume holder. Skull and neck guard made in the mid-16th century. The visor was made in the 19th century.
