Description
A small-sword of an official, mother-of-pearl and gilding, Restoration period, France, first quarter of the 19th Century. Straight blade with one fuller on each side. Beautiful gilded bronze hilt worked in bas-relief. Angled pommel shaped as a lion's head, mother-of-pearl grips. The gilding has been lost in many places. A wonderful collectible.
