Rare French General's Saber, Louis XVI period, second half of 18th century. A very beautiful, massive steel blade, decorated with etched decor that imitates the patterns of Damascus steel. High-quality bronze hilt with a knight's helmet on the pommel. Wooden handle covered with leather. Wooden scabbard covered with leather with brass fittings. A very beautiful Napoleonic era collectible. Length 97 cm.
