Description
Presentation saber, Russian Empire, Fokin, St. Petersburg, circa 1900. Slightly curved steel blade with one fuller on each side. Dedicatory inscriptions and monogram of the Emperor of the Russian Empire Nicholas II on both sides of the blade. Bronze hilt in the form of a bird's head with the marks of the manufacturer Fokin. The wooden handle is covered with fish skin and wrapped with brass wire. Iron scabbard with brass fittings. Russian edged weapons for collecting. Length 88 cm.
