The Bayeux Tapestry (Tapisserie de Bayeux) is the 11th century, 230 ft (70m) embroidery, depicting the Norman conquest of England, William Duke of Normandy, and Harold Earl of Wessex, later King of England, culminating in the Battle of Hastings. The story told by the conquering Normans, but have been made in England.
