Description
**First Time At Auction**

Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. Three Maya pottery bowls, each hand-built and stone-burnished to create smooth, colorfully-slipped surfaces. The first bowl features 3 nubbin feet as well as incised striations across the red and orange exterior. The second bowl has a rounded but stable base as well as 3 incised rectangular panels filled with crosshatching patterns. The largest bowl exhibits 3 large conical feet and intersecting linear bands in black pigment across the exterior. Size of largest: 6.80" W x 4" H (17.3 cm x 10.2 cm)

Condition
Larger 2 bowls with stabilization to fissures with adhesive residue along break lines; smallest bowl is intact. Each with light abrasions and fading to surface pigment, otherwise in great condition. Good preservation to incised motifs.
