The entire case has some minor scratches due to age.
There are some noticeable scratches on the side of the case.
There is some pain in the crown but it's not that bothersome.
The case does not seem to have lost any weight due to polishing.
The lion medal on the back is in good condition.
Both the dial and hands are in good condition with no noticeable damage.
The leather band has been replaced with a new one.
The machine has been overhauled the rotor winds easily and there are no problems with accuracy.

The Seikomatic Chronometer is the first domestically produced self-winding chronometer that was newly developed based on the ``6216'' in order to pass the world standard for luxury goods ``CHRONOMETER''. Only movements that passed Seiko's strict internal inspection (excellent grade standards) were commercialized.
This is a watch that shows the Japanese people's obsession with manufacturing which challenges high precision with low beats.
The crown is located at 4 o'clock to emphasize that it is a self-winding movement (no manual winding function).
At that time the idea that luxury items were hand-wound was widespread but with the introduction of the 62 Chronometer automatic winding became recognized as a luxury item both in name and reality.
However in 1966 Switzerland requested that we stop using the ``CHRONOMETER'' notation in our in-house certification so production ended after about a year.
On the screw back of course there is a golden lion medal the symbol of "CHRONOMETER"!
The dial case crown etc. are made exclusively for the watch and it has been adjusted and inspected to the level of an excellent chronometer making it a top-of-the-line Seiko self-winding watch.
It is the highest quality product that Japan is proud of comparable to the Swiss-made luxury products of the time.
