*Complete service including polishing completed at Richemont Japan. At that time the long and short hands and second hand were replaced.
*Provided by Richemont Japan with the highest quality finish possible. Originally there were some small scratches on the surface that were slightly noticeable so I think the polishing was relatively light.
I think it has a finish that doesn't show the effects of polishing.
*There are no scratches on the sapphire glass windshield.
*The genuine rubber belt shows some signs of use.
*I don't think the images are able to reproduce the dull dark green dial or the very dark brown rubber strap which is almost black.

*The indexes on the dial are hollowed out and there is luminous paint underneath. It's a so-called sandwich dial.
*Although it is Luminova luminous it has a moderately faded color similar to tritium luminous.

*The P.5000 movement has a long power reserve of 8 days which was developed in homage to Panerai in the 1940s.
The Panerai watches used by the Italian Navy at the time had an eight-day power reserve which meant they could be used continuously for at least a week without winding them greatly reducing the chance of them being flooded.
This model does not have a back cover so you cannot see the movement but the strong structure with most of the gears covered by plates is reminiscent of older types of movements.
Usually long power reserve watches come with a power reserve indicator but this watch does not.
*This watch has a long power reserve of 8 days (192 hours) so it may be difficult to fully wind the mainspring. You may feel like your watch has no winding stops but there are winding stops so if the mainspring feels heavy when winding try winding it slowly and be careful not to damage the watch. .
*This is the last model designed by former CEO Angelo Bonati for Paneristi (Panerai enthusiasts). Mr. Angelo's initials "A.B." and "LAST ONE for PANERISTI" are engraved on the case back.
