*It has magnetic resistance of over 15 000 Gauss. This is more than 15 times more magnetically resistant than Rolex's Milgauss (1000 Gauss "approx. 80 000 A/m").
When converted to A/m it is approximately 1.2 million A/m or more which is 2.4 times more magnetically resistant than IWC's Ingenieur 500 000 A/m specification.
*"Master Chronometer" is a title given to a watch that has been tested twice under strict test conditions and whose daily difference is within 0 to +6 seconds. Although it may be possible to exceed this range during actual use I think the test content is quite strict.
"Master Chronometer" may be Omega's own title but testing is carried out by the Swiss Chronometer Certification Institute (COSC) and the Swiss Federal Institute for Metrology and Accreditation (METAS).
First it must pass the standard COSC chronometer test. To put it simply the test consists of 5 positions 3 temperatures and 15 days. For watches that pass this certification they must also pass eight tests set by METAS (strong magnetic field two temperatures six postures a comparison between the mainspring remaining at 100% and 33% etc.).
