condition
*Used B+ as an antique
*You can see changes over time commensurate with the age. The bezel and back cover have some ink missing.
*There is no major damage to the plastic windshield.
*The dial hands and bezel at the 12 o'clock position have faded.
When moving from a bright place to a dark place the reaction of the night light is that the dial does not glow.
The night light at the 12 o'clock position on the hands and bezel will glow slightly but it will stop glowing after a few minutes.
*The movement may look very damaged but the important parts are not that damaged.
Considering the age I think the accuracy is relatively good.
The static accuracy measured by the measuring device is +10 to +15 seconds per day when placed flat and +5 to +10 seconds when the crown is in the lower position.
I think it is unavoidable that the graph lines are not stable with older watches but this one's graph lines are relatively clean which is surprising.
I think many of the Orients from that time such as the Grand Prix 100 were surprisingly accurate.
However since it is an old item we do not know how accurate it will be when exposed to frequent changes in posture when actually worn.
*The external leather belt (manufactured by Hirsch) is in a relatively lightly used condition.
comment
*Please consider it to be "non-waterproof" at present.
*Bidirectional rotating bezel with no click feeling plastic windshield screw back
*27 jewels Earthquake-resistant device Flat balance spring Smooth tempo 18 000 vibrations No second hand regulation With manual winding mechanism No second hand regulation
*It comes with a manual winding mechanism but to avoid putting stress on the mechanism please use the rotor to wind it as much as possible.
*This model has one drawer of the crown to set the time and two drawers to manually wind the watch but since it is possible to manually wind the watch even with the crown pushed in there may not be much point in having the two drawers out.
*The date is adjusted by repeatedly moving the hands forward and backward between 9:00 PM and 0:00 AM.
You cannot fast forward the days of the week.
*If you look at the change of days of the week it is for English only.
*It is said to be 1000M waterproof but I don't think it was 1000M waterproof from the time it was released.
The crown is not screwed in and even in today's advanced technology there are not many watches that are water resistant to 1000M.
At that time Orient occasionally manufactured interesting watches such as a 100-stone watch with many stones embedded in the movement.
