``Citizen's highest model the Citizen Chronometer '' which has a beauty that has been refined to the essence and stripped down is a model that can be said to be the ``lump'' of Citizen which was developed by a serious group of engineers.
This model was released to compete with the Grand Seiko SEIKO's highest model at the time but it did not seem to sell at all because it was priced higher than the Grand Seiko.
This is Citizen's first high-precision men's wristwatch that has passed the Swiss Chronometer Excellence Class and was developed without a base machine ignoring costs.
It has the largest outer diameter of the balance in Japan and a power reserve of 53 hours with consideration given to the structure of the outer mainspring in order to stabilize the mainspring torque.
This is a special model made by Citizen with a fine adjustment device and a movement with a wonderful finish.
The manufacturing period was very short from 1962 to 1966 and it is now a very difficult model to obtain.
