There are some small scratches on the main case due to use but there are no major scratches that stand out.
The engravings and medallion on the case back are still clearly visible.
The dial is in good condition with no noticeable damage.
The leather band has been replaced with a new one.

This is the first domestic automatic watch to be officially certified as a chronometer.
The 56 series King Seiko comes in a variety of cases and dials.
The thick and strong lugs which are made up of multiple surfaces are imposing and typical of Seiko's design at the time.
The inscription "CHRONOMETER" can be seen on the dial and the KS medallion on the back.
