front board from Jacques Lassaigne's LE PLAFOND DE L'OPÉRA DE PARIS PAR MARC CHAGALL (Paris: André Sauret, 1965); red cloth-covered illustrated board, with the following written at the top in gold pen: "À Mr. et Mrs. Schack en bon souvenir de Marc Chagall / N. Y"; matted and preserved behind glass in wood and cloth frame, wired for hanging.
DOA 27 1/4 x 23 1/4 in.; image size 10 1/4 x 8 1/2 in.
