THREE FAMILLE ROSE SNUFF BOTTLES Late Qing Dynasty Comprising: a flattened rounded snuff bottle with twin lion head handles painted in coloured enamels on either side with scenes from the subjugation of the rebellious Zhang Ge'er, the details heightened in gilt, the base with Yongle tang yan mark; a compressed rounded snuff bottle with circular panels depicting a five-clawed dragon on one side in iron red and two cockerels on the reverse; and a compressed pear-shaped bottle decorated with crabs, two stoppers 7.5cm (3in) high (5).
