American (Clinton, Connecticut), circa 1870-1880. Exceedingly scarce American tin toy, the yellow embossed body of the goat is printed with details for the black hair and facial features, red saddle and collar. On a green-painted tin paneled base with wheels. Overall, 6"w. 5.125"h.
