Description
Tiger head hats have been used in China at least since the Sui Dynasty (581-618 to protect both children and warriors. This extremely fine and beautiful hat features embroidered flowers and butterflies on brightly colored patches which have been appliquéd onto the background of this long-necked child's tiger hat that dates from the late Qing Dynasty. 12 x 8 x 7 inches.
