Alice Henriette Hope (Lady Hope, wife of Sir William Hope of Pinkie) (1823-1900), Botanical watercolours - Double sided, Studies of flora / fauna, flowers in bloom, with pencil annotations. Approx. 8 3/4" x 12 3/4"

The artist's father was Sir John Wedderbury of Ballindean, 2nd Baronet, her mother was Henrietta Louisa Milburn - a talented artist who travelled Europe and painted flora and botanical works en plein air.
