Description
An extensive 1941 diary packed with war news, apparently by the wife of someone evidently involved in the American government, or perhaps a member of the press (someone named "Bob.") The diary begins in early 1941, prior to Pearl Harbor, but the diarist records current information regarding the European theatre at the time. There are numerous newspaper clippings, including some maps, throughout the entirety of the diary. Loaded with information and providing a contemporary American view on world events leading up to the United States' entry into WWII, but also including other day-to-day frivolities such as baseball scores and similar. 8vp diary in red cloth binding
