Antique c1920 Ladies Drop Waist Dress. This eye-catching antique c1920 drop waist dress has truly classic styling from the period. Featuring a rayon like burnt sienna sheath with a deep V neckline, long burnt orange necktie, and an inset embellished with wide gold tone metallic ribbon and paper thin machine made lace overlay in shades of white and apricot and snap closures. As well as thin machine lace sleeves and hip panels, the lace features a harlequin pattern with alternating white floral scrollwork patterns and apricot floral-like patterns. Both the sleeves and flounces are trimmed in burnt orange piping. There is a metallic gold tone band at the waist as well over a wide burnt orange band. Laying flat the dress measures: shoulders 15'', bust 20'', sleeves 25'', waist 21'', length 43''. The dress is in fair condition with tears in the delicate lace at both shoulders and holes in both side flounces, darkening of the metallic lace trim, and a tear on the back of the attached neck tie.
