Pre-War Luftwaffe Dagger 2nd Model / Pattern

This is a pre-war Luftwaffe dagger, worn as part of a dress uniform. This dagger is the first pattern of the Luftwaffe daggers, and was discontinued in 1937 with the introduction of the second pattern.

This is an early version with nickel-silver plated hardware. The blade has been kept well-oiled and has no rust or other known damage, and is not stamped by any maker. The grip is in great condition with the wire still tight around the blue Moroccan leather, and even the leather washer around the base of the blade is intact.

This is a beautiful example of a historic piece.
