Complete 1969 Topps Planet of the Apes #1-#44 black border trading card test set. From our research Andy's two sets will be the first publicly offered complete POTA test sets at auction to date. These were printed by Topps to test the marketability of the Apes cards before mass production of the standard white border set. This is the second graded set with a CGC Grade Point Average of 6.05, individual grades are below. Over the years very few single black bordered Apes cards have hit the market let alone a complete set. Certainly a rare opportunity for collectors today. CGC 7: #28, #34, #44.
