ASSORTED PERSIAN BRASS AND COPPER ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising a possible Aftabeh (North India) bulbous-form ewer with figural serpent handle and cover finial, raised on four short legs, overall scale-type pattern and copper inlay disc and curls, a brass tumbler and bowl each with engraved calligraphy/floral pattern; a copper covered cylinder-form container with raised figures and a 7 5/8" D plate/undertray. 19th century. Ewer 12 1/4" HOA, covered container 5 1/4", 5 5/8" HOA, 5 5/8" D; tumbler 3 3/4" H, 3 5/8" D rim; bowl 1 3/4" H, 4 1/2" D rim.

Good overall condition with expected wear, ewer with a repair to one foot extending into the base, covered container with light denting and corrosion to the underside and lower body edge along with a possible small repair to base.
