WALLACE "ROMANCE OF THE SEA" STERLING SILVER 60-PIECE FLATWARE SERVICE, pattern designed by William S. Warren in 1950, each piece with engraved "S" initial to handle; solid pieces comprising eight 7 1/4" L place forks, eight salad forks, six cocktail/seafood forks, eight cream soup spoons, eight teaspoons, three serving/tablespoons, a gravy ladle, and a sugar spoon; pieces with hollow handles and stainless blades consisting of eight place knives, eight butter spreaders, and a pie/cake server. Each with "STERLING" and maker's marks. Total weight excluding 17 hollow-handled pieces: 73.385 ozt. Wallace Silversmiths, Wallingford, CT. Second half 20th century. 5 1/2" to 11" LOA.

Condition
Very good to excellent overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, slight bending, possibly one or a few minute dents, and/or worn spots.
