LOUIS EXPOSITION ROCK CRYSTAL CUT ART GLASS WINE, colorless, highly detailed rock crystal cutting with the bowl featuring floral and shell decoration, intricate cut stem, cut scrolling vines to the underside of the foot, signed "LIBBEY" to the interior of the bowl, polished pontil mark. Libbey Glass Co. Circa 1904. 3 7/8" H.

Catalogue Note: The following is a quote from the above reference: "Examples of items in a stemware service made for exhibition at the 1904 St. Louis Exposition. Bowls, stems and feet were engraved with intricate floral pattern. At conclusion of St. Louis Fair, some 80 pieces of the collection were purchased by a partner in the jewelry firm of Mermod & Jaccard and later resold to Owens-Illinois about 1954."
