TIN AND GLASS TIME / FAIRY LAMP, opaque white domed shade with numbers going from 1-12 around the dome with intermediate black notches, fitted on a metal base with a spinning top and side handle, signed to the underside "THE STANDARD NOVELTY CO/NEW YORK". First quarter 20th century. 5 7/8" HOA, 3 1/8" H base, 4" D base rim.

Provenance:

From the private collection of Helen "Connie" Scott, Bristol, CT.

Condition

Undamaged with overall wear to the base, some of the black decoration having wear. Shade having expected flaking/roughness to the top opening and fitter, as made.
