Polychromatic carousel horse. 20th century. Carved wooden horse with later paint work and leather and metal stirrups. Horse is removable from copper post. Wear and paint loss to tail, saddle, and horse hair. Splits and cracks to wood throughout body and legs of horse. Tarnishing and wear throughout copper. Marks, scuffs, pitting and wear to painted cast iron base.
Body of horse: 50" W x 9 1/2" D x 40 1/4" H. Base and post measures 70 1/2" H. 120 lbs total.
