Description
Two Victorian lacquered parlor chairs. 19th century. One with caned seat and mother-of-pearl inlay, the other in an Eastlake style form with painted accents. Losses to paint on left and right sides of top rail of Eastlake style chair. Light scratches, marks, scuffs and wear throughout wood and paint of aforementioned chair. Large chip and loss to wood on top and left edges of splat of mother-of-pearl chair. Nicks, scratches, and losses to lacquer and mother-of-pearl on legs and front apron of chair. Wear throughout caning.
Caned chair: 17 1/8" W x 21 3/4" D x 33" H. Seat height 16 1/4" H. Eastlake style chair: 17 1/2" W x 17 1/4" D x 29 1/4" H. Seat height 15" H. 16 lbs total.
