An antique South Indian gilt silver hinged bangle bracelet, known as Kada. Early British Raj period, mid-19th century. Finely chiseled floral ornaments, The clasp part represents two Makara or elephant heads with intertwined trunks, jeweled eyes and drop-cut rubies on top. Total Weight: 39 grams.
