First Edition.Inscribed and signed from A.A. founder Bill Wilson to acclaimed Hollywood film director John Frankenheimer, dated Dec. 2, 1959: "Dear John Frankenheimer, Please have my gratitude for your treasured friendship - Devotedly Yours, Bill Wilson". Frankenheimer directed the original version of 'The Days of Wine and Roses' on CBS Playhouse 90 in 1958, which prominently featured Alcoholics Anonymous. He also suffered a long battle with alcoholism himself. A notable association copy. One printed and two manuscript A.A. prayer cards laid in.

Condition

Moderate wear to jacket with some chipping and loss to edges, light shelfwear to volume, interior clean; near fine in very good jacket.
