Features of the artist Efim Volkov’s work: colleagues and spectators appreciated Volkov for his ability to breathe poetry into the discreet views of forests and streams, for the calm contemplation of the author, thanks to which grandeur and solemnity suddenly appear in unpretentious, everyday, boring landscapes; the artist was particularly interested in the variability of nature - he was attracted by the nascent dawn, little by little sunset colors appearing in the sky, frosts, and not sweeping manifestations of the elements
