This interesting group of three early 20th century Chinese snuff bottles are designed with detailed hand painted interiors. Three unique scenes are meticulously rendered with stunning subject matter. The largest bottle is signed & displays a double scene of colorful peacocks positioned within a beautiful floral garden. This snuff bottle is accented with a large round cabochon brown agate stopper with an attached "shovel" stem. The medium size bottle features a painting of peasants on top of & below a bridge fishing in the river. The back of this signed bottle identifies people of quality crossing the bridge. This bottle has a round reddish carnelian agate stopper. This stopper is missing the usually attached snuff "shovel". Lastly a third snuff bottle with a rich amber color closes the lot. It is hand painted with scenes of interacting costumed Chinese characters. This bottle is also artist signed. It has a small framed agate top & brass stem.
