This vintage early 20th century Continental jewel box exhibits an intricate French inspired motif. The Arts & Crafts style silver plate over brass jewel box features multiple panels of hand wrought metalwork beautifully crafted with scroll curl & fleur de lis symbols. The fleur de lis symbols dominate the overall appearance of this unique jewel box. The box rests on four ball feet & has a hinged lid cover. When the lid is open one sees a navy blue silk moire lined interior with two jewel trays in identical fabric.The jewel box is unique in very good to excellent condition & stunning !4 1/2" tall X 10 1/2" wide X 6 7/8" deep
