Description
MAZZA, Aldo (1880 – 1964). Torino / Esposizione Internazionale. 1911. Bologna: E. Chappuis. Color lithograph poster promoting the world’s fair in Turin. This fair focused on industry and labor. Mazza was born in Milan and worked as a book illustrator and caricaturist in addition to poster designer. Gilt frame (Plexiglas), sight 35 ¼ x 23 ¼”. Minor wear along original folds; restored loss in upper border. B+.

Sold to Benefit the Adoption Center of Illinois and Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists’ Residency.
