RUSSIAN IMPERIAL BADGE of 31st INFANTRY REGIMENT, 1911
The Russian Imperial badge of the 31st Infantry Regiment features a gold wreath of laurel and oak branches bound by a gold ribbon. Inside the wreath, you'll find the gold cypher of Empress Anna Ioannovna beneath the gold Grand Duchess Crown hemispheres and falling gold ribbons. On the cypher of Anna Ioannovna, there is the gold cypher of Emperor Nicholas II beneath the gold Imperial crown. It is made of bronze.

PROVENANCE: By origin, from a family of Russian emigrants in the THIRD generation.

HISTORY of SALES: On auction Znak (Moscow), 2008, auc. 4, lot 305, the same badge in VF condition was estimated for $2,800.
