A rectangular shield-style ring with SS runes at the middle set in black enamel and flanked by carved skulls on the shaft. The style of skull indicates that this ring is post-1939 construction, after the SS-Totenkopf was renamed the Third SS Panzergrenadier Division Totenkopf when it was supplemented with a tank battalion in 1942. Not marked but at least 800/1000 silver content and more probably, .925. This ring may have been worn by a member of the SS-TV. Very good condition, with no enamel loss.
