Description
World War II German blackout light, approx. 11 x 7 in., made by Notek, with their insignia on the front. Once mounted to an armored vehicle such as a Kubelwagon. In wonderful condition, showing only some light scratching to the beige paint. Does not include the bulb. SOLD WITH Wooden ammo case, 9.5 x 11.5 in. and 5 in. deep, bearing original paint, stenciled Wehrmacht eagle and leather carrying handles. The case is meant to hold ammunition for the Breda M37 machine gun. The interior is split into three separate compartments holding a total of twelve 20-round feed strips. There is a near full-length crack in the wood at the head of the eagle and some expected chipping to the paint and wear to the leather.
