Item Details

Description

World War II issue brown leather map case, 16 x 12 in., with carrying strap at the top. The case is secured closed by two metal clasps that lock in place, which once done only a key can open (key not present). Both clasps are marked ‘TKC’. Embossed on the reverse with a national eagle and swastika and reads ‘Feldgendarmerie’ (‘Field Police’). The interior is split into three separate compartments and bears three front pockets. The leather case bears expected stains and scuffs from use, else very good.
