Description
French war-date anti-Semitic propaganda, 16pp. 12mo. (Paris: J. Mazeyrie), ca. 1942. The front cover bears an insulting caricature of a Jewish businessman with the title: 'Un Bon Francais...' ('A Good Frenchman'). The propaganda within is presented in the form of a comic book with each panel bearing a rhyming caption. Pedderl 'Jacobensky' travels to France where he teams up with a 'goyim' to overwork French women making garments and eventually he owns several factories. The 'youdi' war profiteer is shown as a rat with his fellows consuming a block of cheese (representing the French nation) as British soldiers run for their lives. In the end, a French 'boot' and broom sweep the Jews 'down the drain'. Fine condition.
