Superb lot of four contemporary photographs, 5 x 4 in. b/w, showing the bodies of Benito Mussolini, his mistress Clara Petacci, and cohorts, following their execution in Milan, April of 1945 by Communist partisans. These graphic images show the corpses hanging on public display and closeups of the mutilated bodies. The photos are in pristine condition, with no creases, tears, etc.
