The PASADENA took part in the formal surrender in Tokyo Bay, at which all three admirals were present. Signed by: WILLIAM F. HALSEY, CHESTER W. NIMITZ and ERNEST J. KING, each adding rank, with Nimitz’s in another hand. Slight abrasion and tear to top margin, creasing to bottom right corner with a small tear thereat, both easily matted-out.
