A Silver inkwell by the Birmingham, England company Adie Brothers, capstan form with a picture of a "bonneted" girl in long flowing dress on lid, fully marked on side bottom including date mark for 1924-25, size 2 1/2 in. tall x 3 1/4 in. wide at base x 2 in. wide at top, total weight 355 g, fair condition with some small nicks and marks consistent with its age and use, picture of bonneted girl displays some loss, possible cover to top of picture has been re-polished or replaced.

Overall fair, showing small marks and indications of use comensurate with its age, clear top to picture possibly replaced.
