Description
A vintage, handmade sterling silver box by noted early Taxco silversmith Frederick Davis, with carved obsidian Aztec face on lid, size: 3 1/2 in. x 2 in. x 1 3/8 in., inscribed "Georgia" in elegant script upper right corner of lid, Davis' "FD" hallmark on bottom with 900 (silver content) below, circa 1945.
Condition
Very good, some minor scratches and dents to bottom, a lovely Old Mexico memento.
