Raymond" pocket watch, 18 size, 15 jewels, key wind and set, adjusted gilt plate movement with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance with gold screws in a 6 oz., coin silver, hinged back and bezel open face case, roman numeral, double sunk white enamel dial signed "Pennsylvania Railroad Co.", with blued steel, open morning glory hands, serial #125798
Condition
CASE: Dent, back; Dings; Covers with bow wear; Very fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on cuvette; Rear cover snap worn; Hinge loose; Bow replaced; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Hairlines at edge of center; Hairline from seconds bit to dial center. HANDS: Minute with bends. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine scratches on plate; Scattered spotting; A few specks of corrosion; Small spots of oxide on regulator; Dirty. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), circa 1870
