A Victorian inlaid mahogany collector's cabinet, 19th century, the outset top with star inlay veneer, over twin doors with conforming veneer, the obverse of the doors inlaid with an interior decoupage panel centering a poppy flowering stem, the cabinet fitted with six drawers, over a long drawer with diamond estucheon and bone handles, 21?h x 2?w x 16?d. Provenance: Estate of Meri Jaye, a renowned maritime collector and interior designer of passenger and cargo ships, Nob Hill, San Francisco
