Chinese Ming Dynasty Chenghua Wucai Petals Porcelain Plate. The plates has a broad wide central interior, round mouth lip, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of many Ruyi shaped large pendants filled by scrolling clouds, interspersed by floral and fruiting banquets. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rectangles lines. Made in The Years of Chenghua Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
