These Important Paintings collection all originated from one prominent collector, spanning from Lot-95 to Lot-160 (Day 1), continuing from Lot-402 to Lot-456 (Day 2).
LOT NOTES:
Zhang Boying (1871 - 1949), formerly known as Qirang , also known as Baiying, also named Shaopu , nicknamed Yunlong Shanmin , and his family name Xiaolai Qianguan , was a native of Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, a Chinese official and calligrapher . He is good at running calligraphy and is as famous as Wang Shuheng , Fu Zengxiang , Hua Shikui and Zheng Xiaoxu . Zhang Boying was born in Yuzhuang, Sanbao, Xuzhou. His father, Zhang Renguang, was a general judge . He studied under Xu Kuinan and Feng Xu , and was a classmate with Kui Nanzi Xu Shuzheng . In the Wuzi year of Guangxu (1888), he took part in the Jinling Provincial Examination at the age of eighteen, and passed the same examination as his uncle Zhang Congren , which became a legend. To support the family, he opened a school to teach apprentices. In 1926, he was appointed as the general editor of "Heilongjiang General Chronicle".
